As we set out on our course for the day, many times we find we become distracted from our planned activities. Some people would see these types of distractions as a frustrating interruption of their schedule. My husband and I have come to believe and realize these distractions most times have been placed in our schedule on purpose. We serve a God who uses all those who love Him and are called to work for Him for His Glory and will put us in the appropriate places at the appropriate times, where He needs us to be in order to bless someone else, or in order for us to receive such a blessing.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28 from the King James Bible

My intention is to share our stories here on this blog, so we might spark hope in those who may need a blessing or an inspirational story now and then to help them get through daily struggles in this world. We want all to see these distractions from our perspective and realize they too may have been Divinely Diverted! We invite you to visit often and share your Divine experiences as well!

My name is Sue and I have been married to a wonderful and kind man named Rich for over 35 years.

Here are some facts about us:

  1. We were led to a new church several years ago and feel blessed to be able to help build this new church and grow the congregation. Our non-denominational, Bible-based church consists of a refreshing group of fellow Christian brothers and sisters who truly love the Lord and are dedicated to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.
  2. We have struggled in our lives for many years with the impact addictions can have on a family. My husband has felt the chains of several addictions in his life – including alcohol, gambling and prescription pain medicines. Over the past 9 years, God has broken the chains for him, and my husband continues to ask the Holy Spirit to guide him daily to avoid those evil addictions which had him bound for so long.
  3. We are dedicated to outreach efforts in our church as well as to helping the homeless population in our area. There are so many less fortunate folks than us, who need people to be kind and not turn their backs on them.
  4. We love to meet new people on our daily travels and share our faith-based stories in order to provide hope and inspiration whenever we can. These encounters, in turn are also such wonderful blessings to us!

We have felt called by God to reach out in as many ways as we can to hopefully spark hope and inspiration by sharing our life stories and our path to Jesus Christ. We have been saved by grace through faith and we want to share this wonderful experience with all. We encourage others who may have been struggling as we were for so long, to learn what a great gift God has given us in his son, Jesus Christ, as well as the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us and guides us through our life decisions and situations. We want to share what we have learned with those who don’t know Jesus and do not know all that He can do for them.

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to invite Jesus into your hearts, find a Christian Bible-based Church where you can talk to a Pastor there and begin to fellowship with other believing Christians. Your life will truly be changed for the good!
